Kim SIMONSEN

Kim Simonsen er høvundi. Hann hevur útgivið yrkingasøvn, ritroyndir og fakbøkur. Í 2014 fekk hann M.A. Jacobsen Bókmentavirðisløn of hann er umboðaður av Farlit uttanlanda. Hansara søvn koma í næstum á m.a. enskum, donskum og makedonskum. Hann hevur fingið starvslønir og Annan stuðul bæði frá Mentunargrunni Landsins og Statens Kunstfond. Hann er MA og ph.d. í bókmentum og europeiskari søgu og mentan. Hann hevur serliga arbeitt á Universitetinum í Amsterdam, Universitetinum í Bergen og hann er m.a. lærari í listarligari ástøði innan Ritlist á Fróðskaparsetri Føroya. Hann hevur búð mest í Keypmannahavn, stundum eisini í New York, Amsterdam og í Noreg.

Kim Simonsen is a writer of mostly poetry, essays and non-fiction. In 2014 he was awarded the National Literary Award for Faroese Poetry 2014. He is represented by the Faroese Literary Agency – FarLit, he has received both Danish and Faroese Art Council Working and Travel Grant. His poems have appeared translated in many languages. Upcoming his books will be published in Danish, English and in Macedonian. He holds an MA and a PhD. In literature and has worked at the University of Amsterdam, the University of Bergen, and teaches at the Creative Writing Department at the University of the Faroe Islands, he has lived in New York, Amsterdam, Copenhagen, and in Norway.
