Lucija STUPICA

 

Lucija Stupica, who lives in Ljubljana, Slovenia, writes poetry, articles about architecture and design, and also works as an interior designer. As a famous Slovene literature critic Vanesa Matajc puts it "for her poetry we could say that her two central poetic symbols are spatial: the city and the circle. She ambles in easy relaxed circles around her experiences of herself, of cities and landscapes, of love, literature and music". She published three books: Čelo na soncu (Cello in the Sun), Vetrolov (Windcatcher) and Otok, mesto in drugi (The Island, the City and the Other), participated in numerous International Poetry Festivals and was awarded various prizes for her literary work.
