Chus PATO (Ourense, 1955) is one of the most emblematic voices of the contemporary Galician poetry. Author of ten collections of poems published between 1991 and 2013, amongst which we highlight the pentology Decrúa, antes método, compuesta por m-Talá (2000), Charenton (2004), Hordas de escritura (2008), Secesión (2009) and Carne de Leviatán (2013).

Her books have been published in several countries and she holds a significant projection in the Anglo-Saxon scope. Her anthology “Finis Terra” (Uitgeverij Perdu, Amnsterdan, 2017) is translated in Dutch. She is one of the selected poets by Daniella Seel for the publication “I Sit Like a Garbage God, Het feminisme in 14 gedichten” published by BOZAR.

Recently, the voice of Chus Pato has been added to the Woodberry Poetry Room of Harvard’s recordings: a repository of the greatest poets’ voices.

Chus PATO (Ourense, 1955) est l’une des voix les plus emblématiques de la poésie galicienne contemporaine. Auteur de 10 recueils de poèmes publiés entre 1991 et 2013, elle fut acclamée pour sa pentologie intitulée Decrúa, antes método, compuesta por m-Talá (2000), ainsi que pour ses plaquettes Charenton (2004), Hordas de escritura (2008), Secesión (2009) et Carne de Leviatán (2013).

Ses livres sont traduits dans différentes langues, mais c’est principalement dans le monde anglo-saxon qu’elle connait le plus de succès. Son anthologie Finis Terra vient de paraitre en néerlandais (Uitgeverij Perdu, Amsterdam, 2017). Elle a été sélectionnée par Daniella Seel pour sa publication intitulée I Sit Like a Garbage God, Het feminisme in 14 gedichten publié par BOZAR.

Il y a peu, la voix de Chus Pato a été ajoutée à la collection du Woodberry Poetry Room de Harvard, qui conserve la voix des poètes les plus importants.
