Rannvá Holm Mortensen (1950) er málari, grafikari og rithøvundur, og luttók á Metáfora International Workshop í Barcelona í 2013-2014. 

Hon hevur verið virkin listakvinna í 30 ár, og hevur javnan framsýningar í Føroyum og uttanlands. Fyrsta bókaútgáva var yrkingasavnið “Sólsmakkur” (Sprotin 2018), og vann hon M.A. Jacobsens virðislønina fyri fagrar bókmentir sama árið. 

Í 2023 var enska týðing av “Sólsmakkur”, Suntaste útgivin í USA av International Polar Institute Press Seinasta yrkingasavnið “Vármjólk” var útgivið av forlagnum Sprotin í 2022.

Rannvá Holm Mortensen (born 1950) is a Faroese visual artist, poet, and graphic artist. She is self-taught but took part in Metáfora International Workshop in Barcelona in 2013/2014.

Holm Mortensen has been working as an artist for 30 years and regularly exhibits in the Faroe Islands and internationally. She made her debut with the poetry collection Sólsmakkur (Suntaste, 2018) and received the M.A. Jacobsens Prize, the Faroe Islands' most important literary award.

In 2023, the English translation of "Sólsmakkur", Suntaste, was published by International Polar Institute Press. Her most recent collection, "Vármjólk" (Spring Milk) was published in 2022 by Sprotin Publishers.

Rannvá Holm Mortensen (née en 1950) est une artiste visuelle, poète et graphiste féroïenne. Elle est autodidacte mais a participé à l'atelier international Metáfora à Barcelone en 2013/2014.

Holm Mortensen travaille en tant qu'artiste depuis 30 ans et expose régulièrement dans les îles Féroé et au niveau international. Elle a fait ses débuts avec le recueil de poésie Sólsmakkur (Suntaste, 2018) et a reçu le prix M.A. Jacobsens, le prix littéraire le plus important des Îles Féroé.

En 2023, la traduction anglaise de "Sólsmakkur", Suntaste, a été publiée par International Polar Institute Press. Son recueil le plus récent, "Vármjólk" (Spring Milk), a été publié en 2022 par Sprotin Publishers.

Rannvá Holm Mortensen (1950) is een Faeröers beeldend kunstenaar, dichteres en graficus. Ze is een autodidact, maar volgde in 2013/14 workshops bij de prestigieuze kunstacademie Metáfora in Barcelona. 

Holm Mortensen werkt al 30 jaar als kunstenares en exposeert regelmatig op de Faeröer en daarbuiten. Haar debuut als dichteres kwam met "Sólsmakkur" (Zonnesmaak, 2018). Voor deze bundel ontving ze de M.A. Jacobsensprijs, de belangrijkste literaire onderscheiding van de Faeröer. 

In 2023 verscheen de Engelse vertaling van "Sólsmakkur", Suntaste, bij International Polar Institute Press. Haar meest recente bundel, "Vármjólk" (Lentemelk) verscheen in 2022 bij uitgeverij Sprotin.
