Ștefan MANASIA

Ștefan Manasia (n. 1977, Piteşti, România). Este poet şi jurnalist, redactor al revistei de cultură Tribuna. În 2008 iniţiază, la Cluj, Clubul de Lectură „Nepotu’ lui Thoreau” (alături de Szántai János și François Bréda) – cea mai importantă comunitate literară româno-maghiară din Transilvania. A publicat şase volume de versuri: Amazon și alte poeme (2003), cartea micilor invazii (2008, premiul Manuscriptum pentru poezie, din partea Muzeului Naţional al Literaturii Române), motocicleta de lemn (2011, premiul Tînărul Scriitor al Anului 2011), Bonobo sau cucerirea spațiului (2013), Cerul senin (2015, premiul pentru poezie al revistei Observator cultural) şi Gustul cireşelor (2017, nominalizat la premiile Observator cultural). Poemele sale sînt traduse în maghiară, franceză, germană, poloneză, ivrit. Susţine lecturi publice în România şi în străinătate (Budapesta, Berlin, Praga, Čseské Budějovice, Istanbul, Tel Aviv, Tivon, Chişinău). Este autorul volumului de eseuri şi cronici literare Stabilizator de aromă (2016). Interesat de cinema, biologie, istorie, arheologia spaimei, alchimia ororii, în cartea din 2011 îşi rezumă credo-ul (meta)poetic aşa: „Omul, această gînganie mistică./ Man, this mystic bug.” (Summa Theologica)

Ştefan Manasia (born 1977, Piteşti, Romania). Poet and journalist, he is the publisher of the cultural magazine Tribuna. In 2008, he initiated in Cluj the Reading Club „Nepotu’ lui Thoreau” (the nephew of Thoreau, with János Szántai and François Bréda) - the largest Romanian-Hungarian literary community in Transylvania. He has published six volumes of poetry: Amazon şi alte poeme (Amazon and other poems, 2003), cartea micilor invazii (the book of small invasions, 2008, Manuscriptum Prize for poetry, National Museum of Romanian Literature), motocicleta de lemn (the wooden motorcycle, 2011, Young writer of the year prize), Bonobo sau cucerirea spaţiului (Bonobo or the conquest of space, 2013), Cerul senin (Blue Sky, 2015, Poetry Prize from Observator Cultural magazine) and Gustul Cireşelor (The taste of cherries, 2017).

His poems are translated into Hungarian, French, German, Polish and Hebrew. He participates in public readings in Romania and abroad (Budapest, Berlin, Prague, Čseské Budějovice, Istanbul, Tel Aviv, Tivon, Chişinău). He published the volume of essays and literary chronical Stabilizator of aromă (Flavor stabilizer, 2016). Passionate about cinema, biology, history, the archeology of anxiety, the alchemy of horror, in his book of poems published in 2011, he summarizes his creedo (meta) poetic as: "Man, this mystic bug.” (Summa Theologica)

Le Neveu de Thoreau, avec Szántai János et François Bréda) - la plus importante communauté littéraire roumaine-hongroise en Transylvanie. Il a publié six volumes de poésie : Amazon și alte poeme (fr. Amazon et autres poèmes, 2003), cartea micilor invazii (fr. Le livre des petites invasions 2008, prix Manuscriptum pour poésie, du Musée national de la littérature roumaine), motocicleta de lemn (fr. la moto en bois, 2011, prix Jeune écrivain de l'année 2011), Bonobo sau cucerirea spațiului (fr. Bonobo ou la conquête de l'espace, 2013), Cerul senin (fr. Bleu ciel, 2015, prix de la poésie du magazine Observator cultural) et Gustul cireşelor (fr. Le goût des cerises, 2017, nominalisé aux prix du magazine Observator cultural). Ses poèmes sont traduits en hongrois, français, allemand, polonais et hébreu. Il soutient des lectures publiques en Roumanie et à l'étranger (Budapest, Berlin, Prague, Čseské Budějovice, Istanbul, Tel Aviv, Tivon, Chişinău). Il a publié le volume d'essais et chroniques littéraires Stabilizator de aromă (fr. Stabilisateur de saveur, 2016). Passionné du cinéma, de la biologie, de l’histoire, de l’archéologie de l’angoisse, de l'alchimie d’horreur, dans son livre de poèmes paru en 2011, moto en bois, il résume son credo (méta)poétique tel : « L’homme, cette punaise mystique. In 2008 neemt hij, in Cluj, het initiatief tot de Leesclub „Nepotu’ lui Thoreau” (De kleinzoon van Thoreau, samen met Szántai János en François Bréda) – het belangrijkste Roemeens-Hongaarse literaire genootschap in Transsylvanië. Hij publiceerde zes dichtbundels: Amazon și alte poeme (Amazone en andere gedichten, 2003), cartea micilor invazii (het boek van de kleine invasies, 2008, de prijs Manuscriptum voor poëzie, toegekend door het Nationaal Museum van de Roemeense Literatuur), motocicleta de lemn (de houten motorfiets, 2011, prijs Jonge Schrijver van het Jaar 2011), Bonobo sau cucerirea spațiului (Bonobo of de verovering van de ruimte, 2013), Cerul senin (Onbewolkte lucht, 2015, poëzieprijs van het tijdschrift Observator cultural) en Gustul cireşelor (De smaak van kersen, 2017, genomineerd voor de prijzen van Observator cultural). Gedichten van hem zijn vertaald in het Hongaars, Frans, Duits, Pools, Ivriet. Hij houdt openbare voorlezingen in Roemenië en in het buitenland (Budapest, Berlijn, Praag, Čseské Budějovice, Istanbul, Tel Aviv, Tivon, Chişinău). Hij is de auteur van het boek met essays en literaire kronieken Stabilizator de aromă (Smaakstabilisator, 2016). Vanuit zijn belangstelling voor filmkunst, biologie, geschiedenis, de archeologie van de angst, de alchimie van de horror vat hij in zijn boek uit 2011 zijn credo op de volgende (meta)poëtische wijze samen: „De mens, dit mystieke insect./ Man, this mystic bug.” (Summa Theologica)
