Dan COMAN

Dan Coman, născut în 1975, Gersa (România). A publicat patru cărți de poezie: anul cârtiței galbene (Ed Vinea, 2003), Ghinga (Ed Vinea, 2005), Dicţionarul Mara, ghidul tatălui 0-2 ani (Ed Cartier 2009), Insectarul Coman (Ed Charmides, 2017). De asemenea a publicat trei romane: Irezistibil (Ed Cartea Românească, 2010), Parohia (Ed Cartea Românească, 2012), Căsnicie (Ed Polirom, 2015). A primit Premiul Uniunii Scriitorilor din România pentru debut (2004), Premiul Național de poezie Mihai Eminescu pentru Opera Prima (2004), Vilenica Crystal Prize (Slovenia, 2011), Premiul Radio România Cultural (2010, 2018), Premiul Observator Cultural (2018), Premiul Cartea de poezie a anului 2017 în cadrul Galei tinerilor scriitori (2018). Locuiește la Bistrița unde organizează Festivalul Internațional de Poezie și Muzică Poezia e la Bistrița.

Dan Coman, born in 1975 in Gersa (Romania). He has published four collections of poetry: The year of the yellow mole (Vinea Publishing house, 2003), Ghinga (Vinea Publishing house, 2005), Mara’s dictionary, the father’s handbook 0-2 years (Edgar Cartier Publishing house, 2009), The Coman Insectarium (Maison d'Edition Charmides, 2017). He has also published three novels: Irresistible (Cartea Românească Publishing house, 2010), The Parish (Cartea Românească Publishing house, 2012), Mariage (Polirom Publishing house, 2015). He received the prize of the Writers' Union in Romania for his debut (2004), the Mihai Eminescu National Poetry Prize for Opera Prima (2004), Vilenica Crystal Prize (Slovenia, 2011), the Radio Romania Cultural Prize (2010, 2018), the Cultural Observatory Prize (2018), the Poetry Book of the Year Award (2017) at the Young Writers' Gala (2018). He lives in Bistrița where he organizes the International Festival of Poetry and Music “Poetry is in Bistrița”.

Il habite à Bistrița où il organise le Festival international de poésie et de musique La poésie est à Bistrița.

Tevens heeft hij drie romans gepubliceerd: Irezistibil (Onweerstaanbaar, uitgeverij Cartea Românească, 2010), Parohia (Parochie, uitgeverij Cartea Românească, 2012), Căsnicie (Huwelijk, uitgeverij Polirom, 2015). Hij heeft de Prijs van de Roemeense Schrijversbond voor debuut ontvangen (2004), de Nationale Poëzieprijs Mihai Eminescu voor Opera Prima (2004), Vilenica Crystal Prize (Slovenië, 2011), de Prijs Radio România Cultural (2010, 2018), de prijs van het cultureel weekblad Observator Cultural (2018), de Prijs Dichtbundel van het jaar 2017 in het kader van het Gala van de jonge schrijvers (2018). Hij woont in Bistrița, waar hij het Internationaal Poëzie- en Muziekfestival Poezia e la Bistrița (Poëzie is in Bistrița) organiseert.
