& ses dernières odeurs d’été

on se secoue

& on se coule dans la nuit

dans les lumières de la nuit

comme balancés

entre ce qui fut

& ce qui fuit

to better appreciate the road

& its last summer smells

we hurry

& disappear in the night

in the lights of the night

as oscillating

between what used to be

& what flies away
