***

pour mieux apprécier la route

& ses dernières odeurs d’été

on se secoue

& on se coule dans la nuit

dans les lumières de la nuit

comme balancés

entre ce qui fut

& ce qui fuit

***

to better appreciate the road

& its last summer smells

we hurry

& disappear in the night

in the lights of the night

as oscillating

between what used to be

& what flies away

***

Om ten volle te genieten van de weg

En van zijn laatste zomergeuren

Moeten we opschieten

En in de nacht verdwijnen

In haar nachtelijke lichten

Alsof we schommelden

Tussen het wezen

En de vlucht
