dacă nu ar fi nu s-ar povesti
dacă nu ar fi nu s-ar povesti
mi-am părăsit țara ca un suflet
care-și părăsește corpul
și rătăcește în eter sperând
să mai poată locui în altul
eu de rătăcit am rătăcit
prin câmpiile elizeene
dar n-am mai găsit
un corp de trăit
In a make-believe land
I left my country
as a soul leaves its body
to wander in the ether
hoping to find another one to live in
I wandered and lost my way
through the Elysian fields
but yet, I didn't find
another body to live with.

pour errer dans l’éther
espérant habiter dans un autre
moi j’ai erré comme un bateau ivre
dans les champs élyséens
mais je n’ai plus trouvé
un corps à vivre

Droomland
Ik heb mijn land verlaten,
zoals een ziel zijn lichaam verlaat
om rond te dwalen in het uitspansel
in de hoop er een ander te vinden.
Ik heb rondgedwaald als een zwalpend schip
door de Elysese velden,
maar ik heb geen ander lichaam gevonden
om in te huizen.
