The opening event of Transpoesie 2019 will bring into action once again contemporary poets and their poetry.

For the third year in a row MuntPunt and Transpoesie join forces to present to the poetry enthusiast of Brussels a great selection of literary talents from across Europe.

From September European contemporary poetry will flood again Brussels. 23 countries and regions and 22 different languages will be represented with a poem this year and 19 poets will attend the festival!

Starting with the official launch on 26 September, four dedicated poetry events will feature on this year’s programme.

The final event of the festival will be held for the first time at LOFT 58 in collaboration with MondoCultures who aims to bring the world to Brussels.
